The Planning Analytics Essentials course is designed to provide users with a primer on the core features of Planning Analytics. It includes an overview of the essential navigation skills within the excel client and key OLAP concepts through introductions to Cube Viewer, Data Spreading, and the power of set editor. The course focuses on user enablement through Planning Analytics for Excel functionality such as lists, explorations, quick, custom, and dynamic reports as well as add calculations to reports and setting Planning Analytics for Excel reporting options.

The Planning Analytics Advanced Reporting course provides students with hands-on experience creating reports with Exploration Views, Quick Reports, and Dynamic Reports. We discuss the key features and uses for the major report types and apply them to real-life examples. Students will create asymmetric reports, add data filtering and member filtering, and learn how to enhance reports with dynamic formatting. Advanced topics include the capabilities of hierarchies, Planning Analytics for Excel functions, and calculation in exploration views.
